Same Old: Yesung

Article: Super Junior Yesung says ahead of enlistment "Every single day is precious to me"

Source:
TV Report via Nate

1. [+294, -30] You're going into public service, stop making such a big deal out of it

2. [+250, -26] He's public service too? Suju is just sucking the honey out of their service, aren't they

3. [+223, -27] What's so hard about public service?

4. [+50, -8] You get to leave work at the end of every day, way to make a big deal out of it... ㅡㅡ

5. [+45, -6] Holy sh*t, do you want to get hit, Yesung? You and Heechul... what is wrong with you guys always acting like public service is so hard?

6. [+35, -7] ㅋㅋㅋㅋ it amazes me the stuff they come up with to make their service seem harder than it is. I still remember Heechul crying his eyes out as if he was enlisting in active service. Nobody would even care if you all just shut your mouths...

7. [+34, -10] Anyone else would think he was enlisting in the marines ㅋㅋㅋ Public service? Ha

8. [+29, -7] There's nothing precious about your time. You'll be back out in a month anyway.

9. [+27, -8] ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

10. [+23, -9] He seems to be hungry for hate..

  2. Heechul didn't cry but he had a special episode for his public service on Strong Heart. Other members cried on it.

  3. 10. [+23, -9] He seems to be hungry for hate..

LMAO...this comment..but seriously just like the Koreans have said , if it is public service he shouldn't be making a big deal out of it....he should just go quietly because these days, Koreans are not too sympathetic to enlisting celebrities after the RAIN scandal

    ReplyDelete
  4. Well if it isn't mister it's not blackface it's cosplay even though his face was painted black.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Lol at Siwon in the back of BOTH selcas

  6. yesung didn't even say it was going to be hard
and when did heechul cry lol they are making up stories out of their asses

  9. lmao Rain fucked it up for everyone

    ReplyDelete
  10. What does public service mean exactly? will he not be away from family? so it's not like a proper Army enlistment?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Heenim never cried lol, other members did because of him. Netizens are good at making up stuff~

    ReplyDelete
  12. Siwon photo bombing

    ReplyDelete
  13. Leeteuk ruined it for all of them lol

    ReplyDelete
  14. oh so public service personnel get to stay on their own place? so the service is has like office hours? huh. if it's like that then i understand why people would be annoyed over this.

Poor guys. Military is such a big deal when you're a man celebrity. It could end either end your career and make people despise you, or put you at the top and have everyone respect you.
Woman celebrities have a better life in a way

    ReplyDelete
  16. 4. [+50, -8] You get to leave work at the end of every day, way to make a big deal out of it... ㅡㅡ

    Basically.

    ReplyDelete
  17. the worst part was people comparing it to the hulk costume

    ReplyDelete
  18. I wish they'd all just go quietly....

    ReplyDelete
  19. Suju, just stop the countdown thingy already. Just lay low. Don't give a chance for netizens to complain.

    ReplyDelete
  20. lol and the guy will end his service in a few weeks and would live his life as nothing happened

    ReplyDelete
  21. when heechul crying???do u have the video?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Heechul wont cry for anybody

    ReplyDelete
  23. he absolutely didn't made big deal of it.Actually he tried to avoid reporters all day.I don't think using social network to connect his fans is making a big deal anyway

    ReplyDelete
  24. to be honest, no one can win leeteuk's hungry for hate.

    ReplyDelete
  25. So posting selcas on twitter is making a big deal???? Wow... just wow.

    ReplyDelete
  26. doing public service isn't sth they want to.More than anyone they know how Korean doesn't appreciate them.

    ReplyDelete
  27. lol~~ i wonder this sentence " I still remember Heechul crying his eyes out as if he was enlisting in active service" ,excuseme but, WHEN WAS HEECHUL CRYING? shut your mouth up and if you also wanna enlisting in public service, you should hit your legs broken or make yourself a herniated disk :''> that's all ^^

    ReplyDelete
  28. And for a while (Sorry Sorry - It's You) he wasn't even in the performances except for his line at the end.

    ReplyDelete
  29. ikr Leeteuk really needs to learn to keep his big mouth shut he is just such an attention seeker

    ReplyDelete
  30. lol no...if your talking about the episode about Heechul cried and other members, that was Bonamana time he enlist during Mr. Simple era...The last strong heart guesting of Heechul is The Super Junior Special...and they did not cry in that episode...

    ReplyDelete
  31. weel Yesung didn't say that on a tv show or something he just shared his state of mind on Twitter with his fans that's it

    ReplyDelete
  32. He didn't, I don't think. Must be confusing him for Leeteuk.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The SJ special was supposed to be Heechul special. They just named it SJ special. And I watched the episode and I remember Eunhyuk crying on it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. They should stop overreacting too. He didn't even make a big thing out of it, it's them blowing things out of proportion and making stuff up (Heechul didn't cry as far as I know).

    ReplyDelete
  35. ikr? Heechul is too fabulous to cry~

    ReplyDelete
  36. no, Heechul was crying past then. when the fans waited for him at some outside location, i forgot. But seriously Kim Heechul really couldn't go to army because he was in accident, he cant even dance properly. well, if other artists do public service without any logic reasons, then they deserved it, not heechul

    ReplyDelete
  37. welcome to korean entertainment industry

    ReplyDelete
  38. well, he did cry at supershow lol

    ReplyDelete
  39. yeah, actually many many korean men feel the same. it must be sucks

    ReplyDelete
  40. -_____- HE NEVER SAID IT WILL BE HARD.

    ReplyDelete
  41. super junior are a bunch of pansies

    ReplyDelete
  42. But Heechul didn't cry.....
anyway I think Yesung should have enlisted in army instead but I think Suju members like to get hate from the public lol, they think their international fans are enough for them that's why they do all the wrong stuff. and I think every single person in korea hates them (except for their fans and the people who don't know them).

    ReplyDelete
  43. LOL.
He's not even making a big fuss. SJ members would not even be there to send him to the army. There is no event whatsoever.
HE'S ENLISTING QUIETLY. As quietly as possible.
He just posted a picture on Twitter, and people are quick to judge.
Please use your brains. He's not some "nugu" idol out there. He has million of fans. But he's already keeping a relatively low-profile about his military.
Don't just jump on the hate bandwagon.
Public Service or not, he's still out of the limelight for 2 years. Yes, he will be missing out a lot since SJ is at the top of their game with their SS5.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Shows that K-netizens are not to be trusted. They are blinded by hate.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Leeteuk is srsly something lol he can't sing nor dance and he has the worst personality in SM, and elfs say he's an angel lololol

    ReplyDelete
  46. Many times, they just love overeacting LOL

    ReplyDelete
  47. yeah, double standards =_=

    ReplyDelete
  48. Make sense.
Surely an idol has his own rights to post stuffs on his social media. I mean those who followed him must be his fans. And I'm sure they would like to hear from him.
K journalists are the cause of unnecessary hate again by blowing up things. And boo to the k netizens who just swallow whatever the journalists say without thinking. Or maybe they are just finding an excuse to hate again.

    ReplyDelete
  49. 8. [+29, -7] There's nothing precious about your time. You'll be back out in a month anyway
WTF?? He will be enlisting for 2 years. No more selcas, no more OSTs, no more quirky performances. He will not be with fans for 2 years.
And the "time" Yesung's referring to is the TIME SPENT WITH HIS FANS.
This K-netizen is obviously clueless. Gosh.

    ReplyDelete
  50. What about netizens stop making a big deal of everything SJ members do ='D He cant post a fucking picture and say goodbye to his fans in his own personal twitter?

    ReplyDelete
  51. 1. [+294, -30] You're going into public service, stop making such a big deal out of it

    ReplyDelete
  52. says the one who can't even debuted .

    ReplyDelete
  53. you are clueless he is just going on a vacation

    ReplyDelete
  54. shout your mouthMay 5, 2013 at 12:42 PM

    netizen dafuq !!!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I think he has a herniated disc or something (from that car crash SJ had - same reason Heechul is in public services)

    ReplyDelete
  56. he's been in a car accident?!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Did Heechul ever cry over his public service? n did Yesung ever make a big deal about his enlistment? Netizens act like they can choose where to enlist LOL if your health has any problem n you can do public service will you still choose to serve in the military? How many of you have enlisted in the marine? be true to your self pmsl

    ReplyDelete
  58. what is there to defend?

    ReplyDelete
  59. i hope shinee doesn't go down the same path suju did when they start enlisting lmao

    ReplyDelete
  60. I think there was one in 2006 (i'm not 100% sure whether or not it's the same one Kyuhyun nearly died in)
    http://www.allkpop.com/2012/09/super-junior-members-talk-about-kyuhyuns-previous-accident-on-radio-star
and there was another minor one with Leeteuk and Heechul in 2011

    http://www.allkpop.com/2011/01/super-juniors-leeteuk-and-heechul-involved-in-minor-car-accident

    ReplyDelete
  61. I actually thought Heechul was being very humble about his enlistment.
I stopped keeping a close eye on SJ a little before he enlisted, so I don't know if he did anything disappointing during his service, but I remember being amazed at how he handled his send-off. Okay, maybe not amazed, but I remember thinking, "Wow, Heechul may seem really crazy and he may not have the best image, but I think he's one of the smarter, thoughtful, and more genuine members." That's just what I perceived, though. It's not like I know them personally!

I remember when fans found out about his enlistment, and ELFs were going crazy and wondering why he hadn't said anything about it, he released a statement that went something like, "I did not want to make a big fuss over my enlistment. I had wished to enlist secretly. I'm sorry for worrying my fans, but I'll be back soon, anyway!"

Something like that. It sounded nicer when he said it. Lol.

I was never a Heechul fan, but this (and a few other things I learned about him) made me really like him. I don't want to offend people with what I'm about to say, but when I lost interest in Suju, I lost interest in the members (and began to even dislike a few of them), except for Heechul and Kyu. I'm not saying that these members are flawless or amazing, though. My point is that even though Heechul seems like an idol who seems like he has stuff about him "worthy" of being hated for, he's not that bad...

But even if I'm wrong and he's done something worth side-eyeing, I think he at least deserves credit for not having made a big deal out of his enlistment.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Actually Heenim shed tears on his car and some ELF accidently caught this moment :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. The ones making a big deal are them XD man, he was just using his twitter and he didn't say it was hard. Didn't they ever feel nostalgic or anxious before going to the army or doing a change in their lifes? and what's with all the looking down at public service, I kinda get the "need" to feel superior, but seriously, I'm not talking about the idols because they are propense to receive hate but the "common" man who end up working there too, as long as you work hard, no work is less important and they deserve respect too.

    ReplyDelete
  64. The fact is that he DOESN'T make a big deal out of it.

    ReplyDelete
  65. He didn't. K-Netizens just want to hate.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Heechul's accident was indeed in 2006 (he was coming back from Donghae's father burial), but he was the only sj member involved (the other accident with Kyuhyun, Leeteuk etc was in 2007 or 2008).

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thanks for the info
(how terrifying it must be to have fans that frequently put your lives on the line!)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Well, sometime in my devil's though i just take a little bit easy for successful entertainers *imply for all entertainers* who are brought money for their country (from other country, how i can said that? foreign exchange?) and paid taxes to their country for served on public service for their army mandatory. Wars nowdays not just need human resourceses, but needs lots money for expand their war's technology. Example one, we need just one or two people *and brain* for made rudals and obviously need lot money for that, where are those money come from? Yes one of them is from taxes. On this situation SK is not a country free from tax right?

How world turn around is for one side is fairly enough on other hand is suck.

And for all people who really can served for "really" army mandatory because their health, but forced their self or being forced, sometimes it will be made a fuss for people around them, right?

But if we are talk about patriotic, well public service wrong from beginning, except for people who have physic disability.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Netizens hate them because they're doing public services, it's predictable. I'm glad Heechul is reacting maturely and don't give a shit :

"I am in public service. People talk negatively about it but public service isn’t a bad thing. Higher-up said so, and training office officials said so.. This has left a deep impression in me. While watching normal soldiers train, I said “Wow~ they are really amazing. How do they do those kind of stuff?” but a higher-ranked officer told me “There is no reason for you to feel lesser. You guys are not criminals. You also serve two years. You may feel more comfortable than them in these two years but you spend rest of your lives feeling uncomfortable (about going as public service). You guys have enlisted proudly.” I didn’t realize it before coming. I thought “ah~ why should you bring in reporters when I’m enlisting as a public service? Public service doesn’t need to say anything.” but I realized that it’s not like I committed a crime. I learned many things here at SungDong district office."

    ReplyDelete
  70. He didn't have racist intentions though. And before you come at me with this oppa didnt mean it comment.. I'm not a fan.

    ReplyDelete
  71. i dont like nor hate super junior but i really cant stand leeteuk. sometimes i wish i could plaster his mouth with a duct tape

    ReplyDelete
  72. I don't know why these netizens are comparing themselves to celebrities and higher ups. Of course celebrities and men who are children of wealthy families will get the opportunity to do to public service. Most of them get offered it, its not like they really want to do it.
They also get offered perks. I'm sure lots of male celebrities have gotten away with it too, they were just never found out.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I srsly knew i'd find you on NB its your type of place. You can be hateful all you want and not have rabid fangirls jumping on your back most of the time.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Haha, I'm the same! I mean, about still liking Heechul and Kyu after I stopped being into Super Junior. Kyuhyun had always been my favorite, but I really started to feel like Heechul was the most genuine member.

Also, I actually like Ryeowook more after I stopped being a SJ fan. O.o

    ReplyDelete
  75. yeah yeah yeah so what? that doesnt mean that he needs to be an attention seeker just because he is going to protect the country. he should be proud to be a soldier but no, he only cares about his fans leaving him when he comes out. he even stated that he will find a girlfriend who can wait for him for 2 years. buuuuullshit. leeteuk may be the best in SM but he is the worst when it comes to protecting his own homeland, the country he lived in ever since he was born. for goodness sake, dont be as dumb as him!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Well they could always refuse the special treatment to make it fair. Why the needs to differentiate people with statuses when your country is facing the danger of a nuclear weapon?

    ReplyDelete
  77. i think yesung is a mild case. he even wants to go in quietly, without his members, fans and reporters.

    ReplyDelete
  78. didn't he say he won't do a big deal out out of it?

    ReplyDelete
  79. That wasn't because of his injury but at that time he wanted to leave the group......

    ReplyDelete
  80. In other news, I can't wait for Heechul's return.
tbh I don't care about sj, just heechul.

    ReplyDelete
  81. That does not stop it from being ignorant as fuck. Like my skin is not a gotdamn costume.

    ReplyDelete
  82. he is making a big deal of it ? o.O
he is just saying goodbye to his fans around the world because even if he will see the members, fans won't be able to see him anymore.
and look at you all, jumping on the bandwagon of hate.
    fucking k-netizens's sheeps.
it's like you don't know how to think on your own.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I remeember an interview saying heechul didny want to be in the group anymore, so he didnt want to practice at all, thats why he's always at the back and he would only pop up for s brief moment durimg performances. He admitted that himself.

    ReplyDelete
  84. And he didn't. Learn to construct your own thoughts. K-netizens' views do not equate the truth. Use your own brains and think.

    ReplyDelete
  85. so he can't say goodbye to his fans ?

    ReplyDelete
  86. i don't know what i am more amazed of : the stupidity of knetizens or the stupidity of international netizens here...

    ReplyDelete
  87. I think it's hilarious when singers make a big deal out of military service when they're basically going to become a secretary and sing songs.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Those are no better than the celebs

    ReplyDelete
  89. Because Heechul was

    ReplyDelete
  90. I wonder about bigbang enlist

    ReplyDelete
  91. He's the ultimate douchebag

    ReplyDelete
  92. Sohee can't sing or dance she still got picked too. Your remake is invalid.

    ReplyDelete
  93. a big deal ? lol when did he do that exactly ?
    you guys are funny idiots

    ReplyDelete
  94. Like SJ are the only ones. Maybe if everybody stop with the ps and manned up and became a regular soldier nobody would complain.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Doesn't matter. Nobody should do black face.

    ReplyDelete
  96. He says ''Every single day is precious to me" but thing is, public service is = desk job, they go in the morning and at night they can go to their normal homes - can meet their family - and even Suju lol all he has to do is stay out of spotlight, that is it...

So it is very different from going to active army, where you stay for 2 years and just see your family 3/4 times a year and miss your home... that is why they are hating.

    ReplyDelete
  97. No they don't. They're harassed their whole careers. Too fat too skinny. You can't wear that you're a whore. Not easier.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Maybe they haven't done it. I'm sure regular people actually have to serve and don't get nice cushy office jobs. Not unless they have money and if they do they get royal treatment like celebs. It's not right.

    ReplyDelete
  99. You seem like the butthurt one...

    ReplyDelete
  100. I agree Yesung's black face wasn't as bad as the other idiots who did it (*cough* Boom and Cie *cough*) because his intention was not to make fun of black people, obviously, but it is still a bad thing to do. I wonder when Korea in general will realize that it is extremely offensive.

    ReplyDelete
  101. lol, as if it would change anything... knetizens have something against sj, they get hate for any little thing they do.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Well i do not know what planet you are from. But that is just how modern societies work. People with money and status gets better treatment.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Heechul din cry...thats lee teuk...lol

    ReplyDelete
  104. Sure, a sad thing really. But a little bit of equality and fairness won't hurt. And I'm still bitter about Malaysia's GE results that I would stop now before I launch my fit of rage about status quo and equality.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Yesung isn't even having a freaking send off or anything. He's going to serve quietly. I don't see what else they want.

    ReplyDelete
  106. "Every single day is precious to me"=Because when he enlists he can't meet his fans. He can't perform for his fans.

And no one is asking for the definition of "Public Service".

    ReplyDelete
  107. WonderfulZingMinMay 5, 2013 at 2:38 PM

That's why it's fucked up. Let the rich and powerful get away with it and us sitting crossing our arms doing nothing. We have freedom of speech, as long as we don't like something we can voice it and more if it's about 'how modern societies work'.

    ReplyDelete
  108. which makes me laugh is that these comments have no impact on the general public. Knets words are basically nothing there lol

Yesungie bye ^^ ELF love you ♥

keep hating people, at least it makes you feel a little bit powerful right ? xD

    ReplyDelete
  109. WonderfulZingMinMay 5, 2013 at 2:43 PM

Leeteuk is the last person on earth someone would be jealous of...

    ReplyDelete
  110. Going into public service because they had legitimate medical injuries. Jonghyun will for sure go into public service and I don't want Onew anywhere near a gun.

    ReplyDelete
  111. wow leeteuk really piss you guys off

and am laughing my ass off about how stupide you guys are in the end all of your hating will only harm you guys

    ReplyDelete
  112. Even if he wanted to, he can't he failed the physical test.

    ReplyDelete
  113. he can mc and he can sing
it just that you never tried hearing him sing
at least he is better than you

    ReplyDelete
  114. WonderfulZingMinMay 5, 2013 at 2:46 PM

I'm sure Yesung knows his selca is going to be posted online along with what he said. Everything is an article for reporters.

    ReplyDelete
  115. did you hear him sing before other then title songs

it not like all idols know how to dance

you think hes annoying but some people enjoy him

so suck for you because hes going to appear on programs after his enlistment end
so keep hating on him nothing will change you will keep wasting your time

    ReplyDelete
  116. I love KRY.

    But now it's KR..........without Y.....

Can't believe there's not even a legit album for KRY. And now Yesung is enlisting. Damn.

    ReplyDelete
  117. when did he make a big deal about it
hes leaving tomorrow and I barely heard him talk about
the article is released by reports not by SM

    ReplyDelete
  118. why do elfs keep saying leeteuk is better than me ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's not like I compared myself to him, don't you have anything else to say? and yes I've heard him singing before and he's really bad.

    ReplyDelete
  119. why should he refuse it
if it doesn't harm any one else
he have the ability to get special treatment its not his fault this is how the world works
its unfear but why does it have to stop on him

    ReplyDelete
  120. It's not so much them getting the "special treatment" because they're celebrities, it's that they go online, post pics, tweet, or do interviews bitching or crying about it when there are regular people going thu much worse. It's almost like spitting in the face of other citizens who do much more and get much less back.

    ReplyDelete
  121. MTE. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "PUBLIC SERVICE" AND "REGULAR SERVICE".
Some people here are just laughable because they act as if they are so smart when in fact they are ignorant. Learn to think pls! K-netizens' opinions are definitely not words of wisdom. They are obsessed with bashing idols.

    ReplyDelete
  122. why do you keep hating on him
    its the same
and hes not really bad your just saying it because you hate him

    ReplyDelete
  123. What do you mean it doesn't harm any one else? That 'anyone else' is fighting in the frontline, slinging weapons, ready to die for the nation. So it is others fault to be born less fortunate? Why being a celeb makes you special? Why being rich makes you special? "Why does it have to stop on him?" Don't make me laugh, you would see these comments on every article about celebs doing public service.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Truer words have never been said. And let's not even start into the whine and cry machine that is Leeteuk.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I don't hate him darling, I'm just saying he doesn't have a talent at all, and his attitude brings hate to him. hate is a big word yknow...

    ReplyDelete
  126. w/e, never gonna stop fangirling his voice

    ReplyDelete
  127. Don't know who Sohee is and i don't see how my remark is invalid since i'm stating a fact to ''sujuforever'' i think you're a little confused

    ReplyDelete
  128. Maybe you are talking about "Celebrity Soldiers".
There's a difference between "Public Service" and "Celebrity Soldier". The former you cannot do anything about it because you are unfit for taxing duties; latter you can choose whether to accept the "perks" after enlisting as an active soldier.
Heechul and Yesung did public service due to health issues and there are black and white medical records to support.
Rain, Seven, Leeteuk, Hyun Bin, Jo In Sung etc enlisted as "Regular Soldiers" for show only, because what they did after enlisting for a few months were pretty much similar to those in Public Service(Hosting for army events, PR work etc)

    ReplyDelete
  129. I didn't specifically refer to Yesung. But thanks for the clarification.

    ReplyDelete
  130. you know an article is full of haters when you see the number of comments.

everytimes a Super Junior's article comes out people just run right away to leave mean comments, but when you compare it to the numbers of comments on article more serious like rape, suicide etc it's just ridiculous to see that people here actually are more interested in bashing SuJu.

at the end of the day, you're just painfully pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Seriously, stop with the Leeteuk hate already. Yeah, I get that he is an attention seeker. But don't malign him for something he hasn't done. After he enlisted, he stopped updating his twitter, and during interviews he didn't mention shit about how hard military life is. Even if you guys really need something to hate him for, at least wait for his discharge and see if he's going on shows sharing how difficult life was in the army.
Yes, he did whine and cry before enlisting, but he didn't shed a tear during his enlistment day.
After his enlistment? I don't know. And I'm gonna reserve my judgement to see if he will be like that disgusting Boom.

    ReplyDelete
  132. he does havesing talent
the ability to be an mc is a big talent you know not all people can do that
he can play the piano and the drums
he can sing not like kry but he can sing really will if you have seen his solo in ss4
it just you never tried to look before you speak

    ReplyDelete
  133. how will it harm them tell me

its not his fault that they have to do that

he will be fighting if a war happen but not as an active soldier but he will be their

it not like he didn't work hard to become a celeb he was less fortunate but he worked hard

and why shouldn't he take the advantage his job offer him

and its not like he choose to public service he have disk problems that's why he went to public service

    ReplyDelete
  134. what a dumb comment. i don't like commenting on depressing articles about rape and suicide (i'm pretty sure you don't either) so how does that make one pathetic? oh wait, it's because it's super junior right? smh

    ReplyDelete
  135. if people know about it, it's not considered 'quiet'

    ReplyDelete
  136. in leeteuk's defense his dancing actually wasn't that bad back in the day, as he got older it seemed to get worse. and his singing voice isn't that bad when he sings in his own key but he ruins it when he tries to show off abilities he doesn't have. so he's pretty much on general idol level. & in variety shows he's good at keeping things moving by talking and he has good timing but the things he says sometimes...

    ReplyDelete
  137. in korea regular people with medical problems actually have to serve? please, tell me more, I'm really curious

    ReplyDelete

    LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  140. i wish i could do leeteuk

    ReplyDelete
  141. i agree, but it makes no sense to sit down all butthurt about it like some people. for days i heard endless cries of "omg i am so offended" as if Yesung was pledging allegiance to the KKK. forever wishing that people in general become more familiar with other cultures, but it's not going to happen as fast as we want.

    ReplyDelete
  142. people don't realize, it's not JUST about doing public service. normal korean citizens do it all the time and knetizens don't bash them about it. its about them being physically capable of doing back to back performances, practices, etc. as an idol but not being able to serve as a REAL soldier, marine, etc.

these idols have such a loyal fanbase (that many actors who don't do public service doesn't have) so they don't mind all the hate they receive

    ReplyDelete
  143. Yeah but it was a post on his twitter. It's not like (and as much as I hate to talk bad about Leeteuk cuz I love him) Leeteuk who did interviews and a final photoshoot and stuff. I'd call Yesung quiet.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Why hating? It seems like k-netizens really hate idols don't they? They will find any reasons even if it's dumb just to hate them.

    ReplyDelete
  145. compared to leeteuk, just about everyone would be considered quiet_er but to say he's leaving quietly..no way and like they said its just public service.

    ReplyDelete
  146. the real service might cause the surgeries effect to wear off, perhaps? >.<

  149. Pretty much this

    ReplyDelete
  150. Never heard about him crying even in the car. Do you have proof or something? :)

    ReplyDelete
  151. Why public service for him?

    ReplyDelete
  152. I think you're misinterpreting why Yesung is going into public service. It's not because he is a celebrity (though many haters like to say so). Yesung is known to have severe back problems, and in accordance with that, he got the lowest grade possible on his physical exam. THAT'S why he's going into public service. Heechul as well had medical issues because of a car accident. Leeteuk was the special case, but then again, he was going to be legit soldier until the military requested him to move positions. *shrugs*

    ReplyDelete
  153. well in performances they can alter things in little ways so it's easier on them and their bodies. you can't cut the same slack in training exercises when everyone else is doing just fine. if one person moves slowly, it affects everyone else. i don't understand how people don't realize that.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Kangin is the only suju member that did active duty without celebrity treatment. Too bad these netizens keep bringing up his drunk driving. Otherwise they would have praised him and give super junior some credit~

    ReplyDelete
  155. Seems like that person saw your nets on other sites and felt like they were 'hateful/rude' and that is why she/he is telling you that this is a place where you can say hateful/rude things and people won't say anything about it.
    And yes.
    I'm bored.
    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  156. Fuck you netizen , are you angel ? Are you perfect ???? What the fuck !! Always talking bad about Idol , let him say good bye for his fans , aren't it your busy ? That's not like he'll go to marines , its just the way he show his love for his fans before his enlistment , I know you all jealous , never get love from people .

I know when you go to army or place that far from your house , you'll be so melancholias -______- its normal . .

    ReplyDelete
  157. "At least he is better than you"
Wow.clap clap. What an amazing argument.

For real, how old are you? So childish /)__-

    ReplyDelete
  158. This is true.
I mean,at least es not complaining but I can understand why k-netizens take it seriously.
It's like a vacation for him and the other have it more difficult.

    ReplyDelete
  159. To be specific, the children of wealthy families have a more likelihood chance of being assigned to probably positions related to the working closeby with the defense industry in Korea (which is basically thriving pretty well right now) than public service.

    ReplyDelete
  160. K-netizen is always so mean.

    ReplyDelete
  161. ugh atleast he didnt pull an leeteuk, he was too annoying leaving. ur doing real work dude. u'll comeback after 2 years lol

    ReplyDelete
  162. Hyun Bin was more of a poster boy and there's already photos of him training in full gear with the rest of the marines (in which he was likely very serving as infantry in his official occupation, plus whether the ROKMC has a similar 'celebrity soldier unit' is not known) whereas this was not the case for Leeteuk, Rain, Se7en and JIS who probably only went as far as the typical 6 weeks of basic training.

Even war hero John Basilone ended up being a poster boy after his actions in Guadalcanal though he was still given the full option to go back to the frontlines - which he did.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Excuse me, don't include Hyun Bin. He served in the friggin' Marines.

    ReplyDelete
  164. 5. [+45, -6] Holy sh*t, do you want to get hit, Yesung? You and Heechul... what is wrong with you guys always acting like public service is so hard?

Such repulsive people, wanting to hit someone they've never met for such a small matter...these type of people need anger management classes and also need to be referred to a psychiatrist. Well these haters will never understand cause firstly they're not a celebrity with thousands of fans who will be missing them and their female celebrities won't have to disappear from the media for 2 years!

Is anyone translating International fans' comments to Korean as well? Well they should.

    ReplyDelete
  165. He cried because of Hankyung though

    ReplyDelete
  166. I'm a SJ fan but the reason for that was because he wanted to leave the group but Eunhyuk (I think) saved a line for Heechul at the end when they were preparing for the comeback and didn't want him to leave. And Heechul was touched by it so he didn't leave the group and he only had that one line Eunhyuk saved for him.

    ReplyDelete
  167. ifans like you know crap about army in korea. just stfu.

    ReplyDelete
  168. You're the one who doesn't seem to know anything so how about you s.t.f.u and learn smth before replying.

For all you ignorant people, Ye Sung failed the army health assessment cause he has a herniated disc from a car accident which is why he's doing Public Service! Also, what's so bad about Public Service and why should he go quietly? Why are you vicious people making it seem like it's some kind of crime??

At least he is still serving the army unlike some idol I know who didn't even do it at all.

    LOL netizens will never understand

    ReplyDelete
  171. Tired of this alreadyMay 5, 2013 at 11:01 PM

This is really seriously pathetic. Man the FUCK up and let it go. He's basically bitching about a having a Job that's not being an Idol. His ass actually gets to go home at the end of the day while active duty Soldiers stay put in probably small, cramped rooms, sleeping in uncomfortable beds busting their asses off everyday until their time is up missing family, friends, hobbies and more. Again, take off your face, stage outfits and MAN THE FUCK UP.

    ReplyDelete
  172. I laugh at the people bashing NB on twitter. Little girls can't handle the truth.

    ReplyDelete
  173. with that critism, netizen still wonder how a lot of Korean celeb commited suicide ?? look at their own post and try to look at the mirror ok...
try to put themselves on the celeb's shoes...and dare them to not commit suicide...
what they did is the same low as the bully in school..at least the school bully showing their face, but these netizen hiding behind the computer and screwed people's life.

    ReplyDelete
  174. I understand he's hurt and can't physically do the actual service. But he and Leeteuk piss me off trying to make such a big deal of them leaving. They avoided it for how long? And now they have the nerve to go on and on about their enlistment even though it's obvious they won't do jackshit.

    ReplyDelete
  175. The thing is though, that is the opinion of higher-ups and officials.

The average soldier, marine, airman and sailor aren't likely going to be having the same mindset as they do, especially when they're doing much of the physical grunt work. This is a particular mindset since decades, in which former servicemen for the most part never considered public service workers as anywhere equal as they are.

    ReplyDelete
  176. excuse me let me enlighten you with this piece of information as a teuk bias I do understand when people say that but do not even think about saying that to Yesung. The only thing he did was say bye to ELF at his concert and tweet this. Are you trying to tell him to enlist without even telling his fans a simple good bye. We did not see Yesung while he was leaving because he did not make a fuss about this. DID YOU SEE A PIC OF YESUNG RECENTLY WITH HIS RECENT ENLISTMENT HAIRCUT..anyway you haters keep on hating but please before that get your facts straight.

    ReplyDelete
  177. I'm sorry, but even as an ELF, I don't think that it's right for him to go on public duty if the reason is that he was given a special treatment. The way you put it makes it acceptable for anyone to be given special privileges just because of his profession. It has to stop Yesung and anyone to be given a special treatment because while every normal male citizen of Korea is not given an option of how to serve their time in the military, celebrities are given that just because they are celebrities. He should refuse it to be fair to every Korean male.

Now, since Yesung has a herniated disk, I believe that it's fine for him to be on public duty.

    ReplyDelete
  178. look who's talking

    ReplyDelete
  179. I'm just saying lol you shouldn't add the "at least he is better than you" because the person you were talking to never compared herself with him so yeah,it has nothing to do.

    ReplyDelete
  180. The important thing is that Heechul is not ashamed of what he's doing, if other people talk bad about him and think he is not equal to them, it's their problem and he doesn't care.

Hyung has went into the training center. He has been suffering from back disc problems, so he went into the training center righteously to serve as a public soldier. But because of that reason, he wasn't able to proudly enlist. He wanted to go in quietly, without saying farewell to fans, and without interviews with reporters.

The reason he had to go in like this was because of some people who have outrageous thoughts like 'If you aren't going as normal soldier, you are a(n) asshole/retarded/mentally challenged', or simply because reporters and antis make it as an 'issue'.

It was a result (being assigned to serve as public service) he received from a health examination at the same district office as others. What did he do so wrong, to receive all those attacking comments.. Do they feel superior by putting those attacking comments?

No matter what the reason is, I feel that celebrities get cursed if they aren't going as a marine or commando. No matter if they are going as normal soldier or public soldier. People curse, saying they are serving as 'celebrity soldiers', 'part of army band', and 'public soldier'..

If you or someone around you served as public soldier or 'celebrity soldier', would you curse at them like this? Or would you be jealous?

    -- cr: @youngwoonjungsu

Since Heechul has no one like Jongjin to speak for him, I wonder how much he suffer because this netizens judgement of being a public service officer.
